In version 3.0+ you have 10 user fields you can utilize to show all sorts of data.  Including store hours, specials, coupon codes, etc. for each of your location records.

If you wanted to designate one of the user field to hold a URL link, it is possible, but you will need to tweak the template in order for it to become a link.

The user fields will accept many types of text, such as a URL.  And since we use the Smarty Template System, you can code the template to make the text in a user filed become a link.

If you wanted to make the user10 field a link for all your records, then you would need to enter a valid URL into the user10 field for a location.

Like this:  http://www.anysite.com

Then, inside your results_list.tpl file, you would need to search for the section of code that exisit for the user10 field and modify it.  It will look like this originally..

{if $USERS10 neq ''}
  <tr>
  <th valign="top">{$USERS10}:</th>
  <td valign="top">{$location.user10|html_entity_decode}</td>
  </tr>
{/if}

And you would want to change it to something like this...

{if $location.user10 neq ''}
  <tr>
  <th valign="top">{$USERS10}:</th>
  <td valign="top"><a href="{$location.user10}">Click Here</a></td>
  </tr>
{/if}

The end result would be something like this getting printed to the screen on the details page...

Field10 Label:  Click Here
